Doobie Brothers To Perform at the 2009 North American International Auto Show for Charity Preview
Legendary American rock band, The Doobie Brothers, will perform inside Cobo Arena at the 2009 North American International Auto Show's (NAIAS) annual black-tie Charity Preview gala on Jan. 16. The band will entertain Charity Preview attendees at 9 p.m. in Cobo Arena with doors opening at 8:30 p.m.

Fisker Automotive to unveil first production car at NAIAS
Fisker Automotive, Inc., a green American premium sports car company, has announced that its first production car, the Fisker KARMA, will be showcased at the North American International Auto Show, Detroit, Michigan, January, 2009. With only minor design enhancements made to the exterior of the vehicle, the production Fisker KARMA plug-in hybrid retains the extreme proportions and beautiful sculpture of the January 2008 KARMA show car.
